Culture Cumbria is constituted as an unincorporated body

  • The Board of 21 represents key interests, agrees aims and establishes priorities
  • The Board is elected annually at the AGM
  • Stakeholders (members of Culture Cumbria)are all involved in Cumbria's cultural future, attend AGMs and are involved in events.
  • Stakeholders can attend as observers at any Board Meeting
  • Action Groups help deliver agreed priorities
  • At the March 2010 Board meeting, the board decided to fill the Executive posts, as defined by our constitution, of Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.  Between March 2010 and the AGM in November, Kate Whitmarsh and Adrian Lochhead take the posts of Co-Chairs, Christian Barnes is Treasurer and Kate Brundrett and Sandra Wood will share the role of Secretary.  This interim Executive are charged with developing a work plan and co-ordinating the administrative functions of Culture Cumbria as well as acting as contact points for outside agencies.
